Rural Roosts is the ideal retreat for the discerning angler, with its own lake right on the doorstep of the luxurious lodges, so you can just pick up your rod, walk out the door and there you are!

The lodges stand only 20 metres from the lake, which is approximately one and a half acres in size. Each lodge has a shed which is ideal for storing all fishing equipment, as well as bikes and bbq's.

The lake is well stocked with coarse fish (carp, bream, rudd and tench). Fish weigh up to 15lb in this lake.

We have a great local tackle shop (approx 1 mile), which has an excellent range of fishing tackle and bait.

New for 2008, a 4 acre carp lake (carp 8 - 20lb) - just a 5 minute walk from the lodges.

Fishing Instruction

We have a qualified fishing coach, Kevin Martin, with a level 2 certificate in coaching angling, who can come and give lessons by prior arrangement. He will provide any equipment needed and will teach anyone from the age of 7 upwards. Please phone or e-mail with enquiries.
