Spring Lambing on the Farm

Spring is here and new life is bursting onto the farm at Rural Roosts. The weather is warm and bright, the green fields are providing our lovely new lambs with plenty of space to skip around and enjoy the sunshine.

The Lleyn sheep are now well into their lambing time and we have already welcomed around 400 new lambs to the fields surrounding Rural Roosts at Manor Farm. As the weather has now made a turn for the better, most of the sheep have been able to give birth outside in the fields, under the careful watch of Tim and Katie, who ensure that all goes well and that mums and babies are thriving.Rural Roosts guests are welcome to come and see our lambs and on special request can even get more involved, by helping us to ensure the lambs are growing well. Our lambing time next year will begin again around mid-march.
