We’ve been very excited here at Rural Roosts this week.  Our first ever Hereford calf was born on Friday 6th June and is the loveliest little creature!  Katie and Tim’s 3 year old daughter has named her “Phoebe” and she will stay with us on the farm and hopefully provide us with some future calves of her own.

We are now expectantly awaiting the next new arrivals and everyone is hoping that the cows begin to deliver while they’re on duty!  The poor cows are likely to have quite an audience if they deliver during daylight hours!
