Following on from our last blog, we have now sorted through our 250 ewes (female sheep), splitting them into 7 groups.

Tim then chose which tup (male sheep) to put with which group of ewes.  He marked the tups chest with some coloured paint (raddle) so that we can identify which ewes are hopefully “in lamb”.

After putting all the groups out in different fields with their chosen tups, Tim and I then went around to check they had all settled.

Some of the tups had already been very busy as you can see from the photo’s above!
