As the festive season approaches, we look forward to welcoming many new and returning guests to our holiday lodges for a tranquil escape. Winter at Rural Roosts is all about slowing down, recharging and reconnecting with loved ones in the comfort of a cosy pine lodge. The colder seasons in the Lincolnshire countryside bring beautiful crisp mornings, our favourite time of day for a stroll through the woodlands, before retreating back to your lodge for a restorative dip in the hot tub or simply relaxing with a good book in hand. What better way to truly reconnect with family and friends than being totally immersed in nature, with none of the distractions of everyday life. We would argue that Christmas may just be the most magical time to visit the city of Lincoln too, as shop windows are adorned with festive decorations and the bustling cobbled streets become illuminated with glistening lights.

Lincolnshire hosts an abundance of wonderful festive events, from Christmas gift markets and food and drink fares, to wreath making workshops and carol concerts. So if you are keen to wrap up and head out for the day during your stay, there is plenty to do to get you in the festive spirit.
