Rural Roosts is a quiet, relaxing retreat, therefore we do not encourage large group bookings. We do allow smaller groups of family / friends who are looking for a peaceful getaway together, but I always would ask them to be respectful of the other guests staying at Rural Roosts. We do require a security deposit from any group booking (more than one property), which is refundable following departure. If you want to book a single sex group there may be restrictions on bookings from all male or all female parties of over 4 people and additional restrictions on the number of people who can occupy any one lodge. Please call before you book.
Visitors are sometimes allowed, but only via prior arrangement. Please contact us for more details.
There is an electric car charger on site, situated to the side of The Roost for guests to use during their stay. There is a QR code to scan, which will allow you to charge your vehicle and process the payment. The charger is available any time apart from changeover days - Mondays and Fridays between 9.30am and 3pm. You will require your own cable. Please DO NOT charge any vehicles via electric in the lodges, they do not have the capacity for this and could cause the power to overload.
