What is The Nest?
The Nest is a carefully curated, secluded space to unwind, restore, and embrace an hour of calm. Nestled within Rural Roosts, this private wellness area combines the soothing warmth of our Hekla sauna, the invigorating outdoor cold shower, and peaceful surroundings designed for relaxation.
How does it work?
Upon booking your holiday, guests will receive a link to book your experience at The Nest. This gives you the opportunity to book prior to or during your stay. Each slot will be 1 hour long, and the booking is for up to 6 guests. The Nest is walking distance from all of our pine lodges.
Your Experience
The sauna will be pre-heated and ready for your arrival.
During your 60-minute private session, you have exclusive use of:
Hekla Sauna with Harvia electric heater
Outdoor cold shower
Private summerhouse changing area
Outdoor seating and relaxation space
Relax, Refresh, Restore
Most guests enjoy alternating between:
10–15 minutes in the sauna
A refreshing cool-down using the outdoor shower or fresh air
Time to relax in the summerhouse or outdoor seating area
Repeat as desired throughout your session!
