Our youngest daughter likes to keep us in check – here she is testing out the little playarea at Rural Roosts with her friend during the summer holidays!
Children can have lovely outdoor adventures whilst staying here, be it playing in the woodland play-area, having a try at fishing or exploring the animals and wildlife around the lodges and farm.
Slightly further afield, there are plenty of activities and attractions including Rand Farm Park and Woodside Wildlife Park – both within a 10 minute drive, Lincoln Castle and Cathedral just a 20 minute drive and the coast a little over half an hour; there is plenty to do to keep the whole family entertained.
Our eldest daughter Sophie has created a wonderful Children’s Activity Pack which we are leaving in the lodges along with colouring pencils for our younger guests to enjoy. We now have a ‘Wall of Fame’ in The Roost to display some of their wonderful drawings
