We are just getting ready to host our 4th yoga retreat here at Rural Roosts at the end of November. My sister, Julie Nelstrop who is a qualified British Wheel of Yoga teacher, spends the weekend practising yoga with 10 / 12 students. The theme of this retreat is ‘Nutritious Food, Nutritious Movement’ and this is complemented by Julie’s daughter Holly (who has completed a first class honours degree in Food and Nutrition at Sheffield Uni and has a passion for healthy food), cooking some truly delicious, wholesome meals and snacks throughout the weekend break.
If you are interested and would like to find out more about the retreats that Julie and Holly are planning at Rural Roosts for next year, please see Julies website Julie’s Yoga. And for anyone interested in healthy eating, you can follow Holly’s great blog fruitloopfoodie !
If you are interested but don’t fancy the whole weekend retreat, Julie and Holly also do yoga days in their home village of Leadenham (half an hour drive from Rural Roosts), so maybe you could plan a holiday or short break staying in one of our self catering holiday lodges and book on to one of their great days – see below….
Yoga, together with a healthy diet, can help us in so many aspects of our life. We hope that you can attend the following days looking at specific topics to improve our overall wellbeing. Julie will be looking at how our yoga can be helpful whilst, Holly her daughter, (who has a degree in Food and Nutrition) will be considering the topic from the nutritional aspect.
