West Lindsey Churches Festival 7th-15th May In its 20th year, this annual event offers visitors the opportunity to explore Lincolnshire’s church heritage. With 94 churches to explore and homemade food and local music, churches aren’t just for Sunday anymore!
Wolds Walking Festival 21st May-6th June It’s that time of year again when walking the wolds becomes a favourite pastime of yellowbellies and visitors alike. Help us promote the 12th Wolds Walking Festival, with over 100 different routes and guided walks planned, there’s no excuse for not exploring this AONB.
Lincoln Beer Festival 26th-28th May We’ve glimpsed the Beer Garden weather so why not encourage your visitors to head to Lincoln Drill Hall and sample of the excellent real ales on offer at the CAMRA Lincoln Beer Festival. Thursday lunchtime is free, all other sessions are £3.
Spalding Beer Festival 27th-29th May It’s not all confined to the county capital! Help us highlight Spalding’s First Beer Festival this bank holiday! With 50 real ales plus live bands, food stalls and attractions for children, this event is not to be missed!
Poppies at Lincoln Castle Opens 28th May Wave will open at Lincoln Castle from 28th May-4th September, specially presented by 14-18 NOW to mark the centenary of the First World War. Wave is a sweeping arch of bright red poppy heads suspended on towering stalks. It’s a unique event for Lincolnshire, so let your visitors know about it.
