” Hello, my name is Karen Connolly and I am the chef and owner of Lexi’s Larder. It is a locally based food business which offers a variety of services to make your holiday stay stress free and most importantly tasty. These include:

Personal chef services – if you fancy having a delicious meal cooked in the comfort of your holiday lodge without the hassle of finding somewhere to eat and organising taxis home, then I can come along, prepare the meal, provide a discreet service and clean up before I leave. Allowing you to enjoy the meal and relax in comfort without the downsides of cooking for yourself. Options vary from 2 course meals up to a full gourmet 6 course menu. Menus are decided I’m advance with you so no surprises and if there is something special that you really fancy then I’ll do what I can to accommodate your choices.

Catering- if you are having a slightly larger get together of family/friends and would like to enjoy some great food whilst celebrating, I can offer various options. From buffets or canapés to afternoon teas and cocktails to enjoy in the beautiful Lincolnshire sunshine. Or do you fancy having a meal delivered to your lodge ready for your arrival, ready to heat up so you don’t have to think about cooking but can enjoy relaxing in the comfort of your lodge.

Cooking activities- I am also a cookery teacher and teach a vast range of subjects. A great idea for a holiday break as an activity to enjoy during your stay and learn some new skills at the same time. Lessons are bespoke and tailored to the individual, with subjects being agreed in advance with yourself, all ingredients and any necessary equipment are provided so all you need to do is turn up ready to cook.

Hen parties- I offer fun hen party activities including afternoon teas with fizz, cocktail making, cupcake decorating, sushi making and a canapés master class. A great activity for everyone to join in with and most importantly enjoy eating/drinking the lovely things you have made.
